The effect of the jet outflow velocity, the amplitude of an excitation signal, and the geometrical parameters of the nozzle on the processes of droplet formation is investigated. The criteria dependence of the optimum frequency of disintegration of a liquid jet is obtained, this frequency corresponding to the satelliteless process of formation of droplets of viscous liquid with the minimum length of the nondisintegrated part of the jet. New experimental data are obtained on heat transfer in monodisperse droplet flows, as well as the empirical dependence for the heat-transfer coefficient of droplet flow.
