Interoperability for digital libraries worldwide

摘要：
This paper discusses broad issues of interoperability, suggesting factors that may be used in evaluating related solutions and providing an overview of solution classes. It also presents an annotated bibliography, pointing to various in-depth examinations. An informal set of criteria by which interoperability solutions can be classified and evaluated is also provided. High-level survey of approaches for accomplishing interoperability show there is no single method, thus new approaches have to be used in conjunction with older types of solutions.
