摘要
The insulin-like growth factor 2 gene (IGF2) has been described in several porcine genomic studies as a candidate gene for meat efficiency and fat deposition in pigs. The genetic structure based on IGF2 polymorphism was analyzed in a randomly selected population of 32 pigs (large white, Yorkshire, Pietrain breeds and wild boar). Genetic polymorphism of genes was detected by PCR-RFLP (Ncil). In the whole examined population, only two genotypes - AB and 1313 - were detected, homozygotes genotypes AA was not found. In the Pietrain breed with muscle hypertrophy and wild boar only homozygote genotype 1313 was detected. In the total population of meat type breeds a high frequency of B allele (0.95) was observed.
