摘要
Traditional maintenance prioritization is focused on identifying equipment that requires the most immediate attention. The remaining group of equipment is grouped into the general category of "Satisfactory." While the identification of unsatisfactory equipment remains a critical function of maintenance, an improvement in equipment prioritization can identify substantial potential cost savings without sacrificing reliability. An integrated approach of analysis and prioritization is required, but the benefits of any such new approach must be quantified in the expected dollar savings.
