Gabriel Miro, master of modernity (Carmen Conde and Gabriel Miro)

Gabriel Miro was the great master of modernity and exerted a decisive influence on the Spanish writers of the next generation. This happened with the poets of 27, who dedicated some of them pioneering studies. In Levante, in the provinces of Alicante and Murcia, a large group of writers of that same generation received fruitful influence from his teaching and his work. And among these writers, Carmen Conde became a devot-ed, faithful and permanent disciple. This is revealed both in the texts she dedicated to the Alicante writer and in the epistolary maintained in her youth and in some aspects of her own literary work. She recognized it in her maturity writings.
