摘要
The paper presents the results of hydroabrasive wear study of steel and cast iron layers (35...62 HRC) manually welded by an electric-arc method. The wear process has been modeled by means of abrasive jet machining. Fe-C-Cr-B layers have been studied by varying carbon and chromium amounts. It is determined that the water abrasive jet of 200 MPa pressure does not show the distinctions between the wear of different composition materials. In welded layers an increasing carbon amount increases resistance to wear up to 33% under the pressure of 370 MPa. There, the greater the amount of carbon, the harder the layers, the harder the layers, the greater the resistance to hydroabrasive wear. The pressure increased from 200 to 370 MPa increases surface wear by 2,4...3,4 times.
