Technical Efficiency Spillover of FDI, Heterogeneous Ownership Structure, and Technological Innovation of Manufacturing

Introducing the state-owned enterprises into the analytical framework of FDI' spillover effects on technological innovation in manufacturing, this paper examines the extent of spillover of heterogeneous ownership structure with applying GMM method. It turns out that, manufacturing ability of various types of enterprises is showed to become the basis of technological innovation in manufacturing. The results of spillover weighted by the employed persons are different, state-owned enterprises and collective enterprises are positive effects, while private enterprises and foreign enterprises are negative effects, and the largest negative influence belongs to private sector.
