Fabrication and Electrochemical Performance of Mesoporous α-Fe2O3 Anodes for Lithium and Sodium Ion Batteries

摘要
A highly ordered mesoporous alpha-Fe2O3 nanoparticle has been synthesized by using SBA-15 as hard template and iron nitrate as iron precursor. alpha-Fe2O3 was employed as an anode material for both lithium and sodium ion batteries. The ordered mesoporous structure of alpha-Fe2O3 alleviated the volume change during the discharge/charge process and improved the wettability of the electrolyte. alpha-Fe2O3 anode delivered high initial discharge capacity of 983.9 and 687.7 mAh.g(-1) with good cycle performance for 100 and 50 cycles in lithium and sodium ion batteries, respectively.
