摘要
Bulk Se100-xBix(x = 0, 5 and 10) glassy compositions were synthesized by the quenching method. The ingot materials were studied by X-ray diffraction, which was used to investigate the structure of the prepared compositions. Differential thermal analysis (DTA) under non-isothermal conditions was used to determine the transition temperatures, activation energies and responses of stability using various models such as Kissinger, Matusita, and Goa-Wang at four different heating rates. For a better understanding of the growth mechanism, the Avrami exponent (n) and the dimensionality of growth (m) have been studied. For the studied system, the obtained Avrami exponent values suggest surface nucleation with one-dimensional growth. The obtained results indicate that the thermal stability of the glassy samples decreases with increasing Bi content.
