摘要
Salt rejection was stadied in model solutions containing 2000 mg NaCl, MgCl2, MgSo(4), Na2SO4, or 500 mg CaCl2/l., or 2000 mg CU2+ (from CuSO4)/l., tap water, and Lake Miedwie surface water by nanofiltration at 25degreesC and trans-membrane pressures of 5-25 bar. The mono and multivalent salts were retained in 30 and 70-99%, resp. Tap water was softened in 76%. Natural organic matter was completely removed from surface water. The membrane was probably blocked by inorg. species present in tap water. Color (due to Mn, Fe, and humic acids) and COD were removed in 88 and 75%, resp.
