However, vaccine safety is a top priority to limit the occurrence of adverse events. Henceforth, this study aims to recognize and perceive COVID-19 vaccine safety in Indonesia during the pandemic. Materials and Methods: This is a cross-sectional study and was conducted in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic using an online survey of demographic information and a qualitative questionnaire. Responses were recorded and the association between demographic characteristics from survey questions was tested using chi-square with a risk estimate and 95% confidence interval. Results: A total of 311 participants from 33 out of 34 provinces in Indonesia participated in this study. Recorded responses showed multiple side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine both short-and long-term experienced by the participants. Significant associations were found between demographic factors and COVID-19 vaccine side effects such as female gender with short-term puncture site (odds ratio [013], 0.463; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.263-0.816) and short-term other reactions (OR, 0.463; 95% CI, 0.263-0.816), domicile outside Java island with long-term puncture site (OR, 4.219; 95% CI, 1.401-12.701) and immune reactions (OR, 3.375; 95% CI, 1.356-8.398), also between married marital status and long-term vagal reaction (OR, 4.655; 95% CI, 1.321-16.409). Conclusion: Gender, domicile and marital status factors were associated with COVID-19 vaccine side effects in Indonesian people. Several Doppler ultrasound (DUS) studies have been done on the splenic or portal vein (PV) to evaluate the hemodynamic of the esophageal vein. Our study focused on finding a better index using the ratio from two parameters correlated with EV, splenic vein flow volume (SFV), and PV flow velocity. In this study, 28 patients with LC were evaluated using DUS to compare the SFV to PV flow velocity/speed (Sv/Ps) index and other measured DUS parameters with the EV degree. Afterward, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed on statistically significant DUS parameters. Mean Sv/Ps index value in the group of nonvarices was 9.89 +/- 3.56; 19.50 +/- 5.56 in the small esophageal varices (SEV) and 74.12 +/- 29.37 in the large esophageal varices (LEV) group with p < 0.001. ROC curve analysis generated an optimal cutoff point of 16.5 (90% sensitivity and 100% specificity) to predict the presence of EV and the cutoff point of 46.7 (100% sensitivity and specificity) to predict the presence of LEV. In conclusion, the Sv/Ps index measured using DUS can be used as a noninvasive method to predict the presence of EV, especially in predicting LEV. The parliamentary divisions on the commemoration of the tragic events did not follow the left - right axis. In principle, all political parties wanted to establish good Polish-Ukrainian relations. However, there were strong divisions in the assessment of historical facts which continually caused tension in bilateral Polish-Ukrainian relations.
