WORK AND DECISION-MAKING POWER OF PEASANT WOMEN IN AGRARIAN REFORM SETTLEMENTS

The peasant woman is inserted in a social and productive context of submission in which the man usually makes the decisions. The subjectivity of peasant women is linked to the productive and reproductive work they do. Yet, it can be found at the agrarian reform settlements, in this case, the settlements of the cities of Corumba and Ladario, located in Mato Grosso do Sul State, contradictorilly and unevenly that women peasants are building up possibilities to take part in decision making.
