The Localized Operation of CDIO Concept in the English Professional Personnel Training in the Independent Colleges

This paper mainly researches the creative operation of the CDIO concept in the training of the English professional personnels. The concept of CDIO is a new type of personnel training mode originally created by MIT in America, which aims at training engineers at the international level. The fundamental philosophy of the CDIO personnel training can be used universally, on the basis of which this paper tries to research the cross-boundary operation of this concept in a creative sense with the purpose of reforming the English professional personnel training mode of the Independent Colleges, and updating the view of professional personnel training. In the paper, the writer introduces the CDIO concept, the present situation of the personnel training in the Independent Colleges, the corresponding requirements of the personnel market, and puts forward a new system of personnel training theories within the localized vision of the CDIO concept.
