摘要
For future multicast networks, provisioning network resources to meet the QoS requirements of real-time multimedia applications is a key issue. Traffic engineering addresses the problem of efficiently allocating resource in the network so that user constraints are met and operator benefit is maximized To make the best use of network resources across QoS guaranteed multicast network, it is urgent to add traffic engineering mechanism to existed QoS multicast routing protocols. In this paper, we propose a new approach of integrating QoS multicast routing with active admission control to offer traffic engineering function. Moreover, as an example, a bandwidth upper bound based active admission control algorithm is suggested to achieve load balancing and avoid bandwidth fragmentation in multicast network. The performance of this algorithm is shown by OPNET simulation results, ftom which we reach a conclusion that our algorithm can fulfil traffic engineering tasks very well.
