The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been working on the revision of the ISO 9000 series of Quality Management Standards over the past few years, and a draft document is currently being reviewed by interested parties around the world. What does this revision entail? When will it be released? How will it affect companies currently registered to ISO 9000:1994? How will it affect companies seeking registration for the very first time? This presentation will attempt to answer these and many other questions for policy and procedure writers in ISO registered companies, or those companies working toward registration.
