Performance and Demonstration of Geothermal Refrigeration System in China

摘要
An absorption refrigeration system employed for exploiting mid-low temperature geothermal resource is described, in which two-stage LiBr/H2O absorption chiller driven by geothermal hot water is the core technology. The testing data show that COP of this chiller ranges from 0.38 to 0.42 with heat source temperature of 63 similar to 65 degrees C. The energy consumption of the system is markedly saved by 62%, compared with the traditional air-conditioner. Moreover, the payback period of investment cost is shortened up to less than four years. This system has good practical value and much market prospects.
