摘要：

This paper proposes an alternative simple procedure for determining the optimal replenishment policy for the inventory model with non-instantaneous deteriorating items and permissible delay in payments proposed in Ouyang, Wu, and Yang (2006) [Computers and Industrial Engineering, 51, 637-651]. The procedure is applicable beyond the model examined in this paper.
