摘要
For over a decade FIAMM has been manufacturing and distributing Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) batteries for the telecommunications industry. In this paper the critical areas concerning battery design and manufacturing, quality checks, laboratory testing, proper installation and operation are reviewed. It is concluded that through this continuous monitoring and development from design to field operation it has been possible to improve the performance and reliability of VRLA batteries in various applications.
