Peculiarities of electronic properties of transition d metals

摘要：
A large body of experimental data on the lattice, electronic, and magnetic properties of transition metals are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the contribution of d electrons, the relation of physical properties with the electron density of states, and the role of many-electron effects. The main regularities and contradictions that arise when using various theoretical approaches are noted.
