An efficient approach to the design of multi-layer microstrip array antennas

摘要
This paper presents an efficient approach to the design and development of multi-layer microstrip patch antenna (ACMPA) sub-arrays for possible applications in: wireless communications systems. The approach is based on the use of combination of software packages, which are separately applied to the design of antenna elements and feed network. This approach is demonstrated in the design example of 2x2 element and 4x4 element X-band sub-arrays.
