Study of some quantitative breeding characters in Phaseolus collection

摘要：
Forty five cultivars of common bean with different origins, included in collection of IWS "Dobroudja", were studied in 1992-1995. The highest positive correlation is assessed between the yield characters. The components of the productivity have an indirect effect on the protein content and some technological qualities. Cultivars Dessislava, NAB 19 and Cher Starozagorski are suitable sources of genes for high content and yield of protein. The cultivars are classified according to their similarity based on eight breeding characters.
