摘要：
FBG sensors are selected as candidates for measurement of deformation of large surface such as ship deck. A newly developed sensor system, which can be used to measures the global deformations of large surface is described in detail. A short overview of the measurement principle and the signal processing realized as well as the application of the-sensor in the field of large surface measurement are presented. A theoretical model is used to evaluate the deformation, and experimental results are compared with those of numerical analysis by using the finite element method(FEM).
