Synthesis of new water-soluble self-doped polyaniline

摘要
A new water-soluble self-doped polyaniline derivative, PABSAH, was synthesized by direct reaction of polyaniline with o-sulfobenzoic anhydride. The obtained PABSAH is completely soluble in water and can be redissolved after drying from its aqueous solution. The derivative has a conductivity of 4.7 × 10-4 S/cm without external doping.
