摘要
Let M denote a mean of k(greater than or equal to2) real numbers. We present a complete description of the asymptotic behavior of discrete processes governed by the difference equation of the form y(n+1) = M(y(n),..., y(n-k+1)), n = 0, 1, 2,.... We, also, derive an explicit formula for the limit mean when M is the well-known symmetric arithmetic mean. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd, All rights reserved.
