摘要
For commercial or aesthetic purposes, the high- rise buildings are becoming increasingly unique and complicate in shapes. Zhongzhou sightseeing gate in Guangzhou, consisted of two towers connected by a lone- span corridor, belongs to such a high- rise building. The great irregularity in plan and elevation, according to Chinese code, necessitates a detailed study, which usually includes refined structural analysis, scaled structural model test and large size member or joint test. In order to investigate the seismic performance of this complex long- span connected building, the shaking table test of the 1:30- scale structural model was performed on the shaking table with three-dimensions and six degrees- of-freedom. Based on the test, the self-shaking properties. seismic responses and damage features are presented, which shows that the structure exhibits satisfactory seismic performance under the action of 7- and 8- occurred earthquakes.
