摘要
Several experimental evidences show that male infertility is likely to be associated with agricultural pesticides exposure. Specific occupationally related investigations underline the critical position of farmers, especially in areas with intensive agricultural activity. Organic agriculture, unlike the conventional one, does not make use of pesticides, relying for crop protection on natural means of control to be found within the agroecosystem itself as well as on preventive agronomic practices. In conclusion, certified organic agriculture may be seen as the unique agricultural method suitable to prevent pesticide-related metabolic disorders, above all male infertility. Farmers first are prevented from poisoning contamination; however, it has to be remarked that eating organic healthy food is the best way to prevent consumers - especially elderly people and children - from chronic accumulation of toxic molecules.
