DNA Immobilization onto the Self-assembled Monolayer of Azobenzene Modified by Amino Group

摘要
The present work aims at how to fabricate quickly the sensitive monolayer film for DNA immobilization by the simple approach. Firstly, 4-[(4-ammophenyl)diazenyl]-N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl] benzamide (APDA-N-TMSPBA) was self-assembled onto the silicon surface to form a monolayer film. After the detailed investigation of the chemical structure, surface wettability and surface morphology of the self-assembled monolayer (SAM), the reversible photoisomerization of (APDA-N-TMSPBA) was characterized in situ by UV-Vis absorption spectrum Moreover, after the DNA immobilization onto SAM surface, the obvious signal of P element was observed. It demonstrates that the DNA molecules could be anchored onto the SAM successfully.
