摘要
The aim of this paper is to assess three voting algorithms ensuring fault tolerance for an autonomous vehicle. Thus, by using a vehicle longitudinal dynamic model and a SHERPA/VEDECOM sensors model, the emphasis is to ensure a reliable inter-distance measurement to the controller in both faultless and faulty scenarios. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the designed algorithms to provide fault tolerance; nonetheless, some disparities are noticed between the voting algorithms in terms of performance.
