摘要
The commitment to reduce emissions of which the maritime sector is responsible implies the adoption of operational measures aiming at reducing fuel consumption. In this line, the Global Maritime Energy Efficiency Partnerships was launched. GloMEEP has the purpose of fostering a reduction in the emissions through the adoption and implementation of energy efficiency measures. With the aim of providing a tool for costs and benefits analysis of these energy efficiency measures, DNV GL developed an interactive spreadsheet for IMO. The tool is meant to provide an assessment of the impact of the various possible energy efficiency measures. It computes the effects of these technical operational measures on both the EEDI and the EEOI, and also the Marginal Abatement Cost Curve. In the present paper, use, results and potential of the model have been exploited by using input data derived from the specific segment of cruise vessels.
