摘要
Location constrained remote renewable generators' connection to an existing electricity grid is rapidly increasing to meet climate change policies worldwide. Primarily this issue faces a set of underlying economic, technical, and regulatory barriers. This paper addresses those challenges and solution approaches in the context of the Queensland electricity market. The analytical results explore the efficient network configuration, net market benefit, market impacts, uncertainty modelling and emission pricing policies. This study aims to improve the regulatory and planning issues for remote renewable generator connection to an existing grid.
