Cooperation problems between the production and the maintenance departments in a chemical company. A team development process.

This report describes the preparations for and the execution of a ream development intervention in a large chemical company The intention was to alleviate cooperation and coordination problems between production staff and the maintenance departments or otherwise reduce the conflict potential. The main workshop topics were: clarification and awareness of the common objectives; intensive discussion and analysis of specific problems and critical incidents; formulation of(behavior) contracts that are acceptable to all parties, and suitable for handling problems and improving future cooperation. The report closes with a summary of the project: after a little more than one year.
