摘要
Microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) in a sugar cane factory was studied. Also, two types of industrially recommended biocides and a mixture of them were evaluated by using kill time method. The results showed that some countermeasures were necessary to be applied to lower the risk of MIC. The concentrations of the biocides used in this study revealed that the biocides, under the testing conditions, had no biocidal effect what so ever.
