摘要
Monoclinic BiVO4 photocatalyst was successfully synthesised by sol-gel method under different temperatures and holding times. The structural and morphological properties of the synthesised BiVO4 photocatalysts were characterised by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy respectively. The photocatalytic activity of the prepared catalysts was evaluated by the photodegradation of RhB under visible light irradiation. It is confirmed that the samples calcined under different temperatures and holding times exhibited different photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation because calcination under different condition might lead to different purity of monoclinic bismuth vanadate and its grain distribution.
