摘要：
Honey bee venom has long been used as a medicine. For example, Hippocrates 'the father of medicine' (400 BC) tells about bee sting therapy used for arthritis. Bee venom is reported as a potential medicine for rheumatism and arthritis, and for desensitizing people that are hypersensitive to bee stings(11,13). Among the numerous applications of bee venom, its use as a selective insecticide is an interesting possibility(4).
