Dynamics and roughness of reaction fronts in heterogeneous solid-state chemical reactions

摘要
A mesoscopic model to describe the reaction fronts in solid-state reactions is proposed. The model predicts the existence of the linear regime (sigma similar to t, sigma is the average thickness of the reaction layer, t is the time) and the parabolic regime (sigma similar to root t). The roughness of the reaction front is also considered.
