Control of chaos in chemical systems (for the process of crystallization as an example)

摘要
Two methods of control of stochastic oscillations-with feedback and without feedback (destochastization)-were considered. The process of the continuous crystallization of dibasic lead phosphite via a chemical reaction was investigated. A mathematical model of this process predicted both periodic and stochastic oscillations. The OGY algorithm (the feedback control algorithm) for stabilizing the cycle of period 2 was modified. It was shown that the basic equations of the mathematical model of crystallization of dibasic lead phosphite can be transformed to logistic equations. A relationship between the bifurcation parameter of the mathematical model (the flow rate) and the bifurcation parameter of the logistic equation was established. A periodic disturbance of the flow rate was constructed to transform stochastic oscillations to a cycle of period 6 (using the destochastization algorithm).
