Factors influencing life satisfaction in psychiatric rehabilitation

This study examined the relationships between several program-level and individual-level variables that are believed to contribute to quality of life in psychiatric rehabilitation. Participation in psychiatric re habilitation is thought to improve or enhance both the person's skills level and their sense of mastery or self-efficacy! Furthermore, it has been theorized that both mastery and skill level influence clients' life satisfaction. Because of the emphasis in psychiatric rehabilitation on person-driven goal setting, individuals' ability to fulfill their goals Is also thought to affect their sense of mastery and overall life satisfaction.
