Taxonomic and geographic analyses of the agaricoid basidiomycetes biota of the Leningrad Region

Some aspects of taxonomic and geographic analyses of the agaricoid basidiomycetes biota of the southern taiga subzone in the limits of Leningrad region are considered. As a result of comparative floristic analysis the following trends were revealed in changes of taxonomic structure of biota along the gradient middle taiga- subtaiga: increase of species diversity; decrease of the role of the genus Cortinarius and increase - of the genera Pluteus and Entoloma; decline of the total share of three leading families in the head part of taxonomic spectrum; decrease of the role of the family Cortinariaceae and increase - of the family Tricholomataceae. The geographic analysis based on the regional-zonal approach with subdivided system of zonal geographic elements shows up: the biota of agaricoid basidiomycetes in southern taiga subzone in the limits of Leningrad region might be characterized as European-Palearctic boreal-nemoral one with more expressed European and boreal features; the number of species with predominantly more southern distribution (nemoral, nemoral-meridional, southern multizonal) increases in southern taiga in comparison with the middle taiga.
