Effects of "Learn to Think" Intervention Program on Secondary School Students

摘要
Based on Piaget's cognitive development theory, Vygotsky's social construction theory. and Chongde Lin's learning and development theory, Three dimensional Thinking Ability Structure Model of (TASM) is proposed and the "Learn to Think" Curriculum is designed. 78 first year secondary school students took part in the two year experiment. The result indicated that LTT project is able to significantly alter and improve students' ability to think creatively and their scientific creativity and Chinese creativity specifically. It is very important to point out that these positive effects can be sustained and further enhanced over time.
