A new method for path accuracy measurement of industrial robots and machine tools

摘要
In the past measuring the path accuracy of industrial robots and machine tools was only possible with expensive methods. Only special paths could be measured [3; 4]. In cooperation with the Company Albrecht Roders GmbH & Co KG the working group Werkzeugmaschinen und Automatisierungstechnik of the technical university Hamburg-Harburg has developed a new way for measuring the accuracy of any three-dimensional path. The main features of this method are low costs and high precision.
