摘要
In order to simulating cavity flow with more effective and accurate numerical scheme, this article compares the results of cavity flow simulation with three different reconstruction schemes: second-order MUSCL with minmod limiter, second-order MUSCL with mix limiter and fifth-order WENO scheme in aspects of time-averaged flow features, acoustic predictions and instantaneous flow structures. Through the comparison among the three schemes and being compared with experimental and LES data, the results show that choosing different reconstruction schemes have obvious influence on time-averaged and instantaneous predictions. From a comprehensive perspective, at the cost of spending slightly more computational time, both MUSCL with mix limiter and WENO scheme could predict unsteady cavity flow with higher precision and gain detailed flow structures with lower dissipation characteristic than the simulation with minmod limiter.
