摘要
Adequate presence of active hydrogen, near instant heat-up to a temperature, and agitation high enough to provide the desired kinetics, are the conditions required for virtually instant conversion of particulate coal feed into a liquid reaction medium. The reaction conditions and contacting must be ideal in order to achieve optimum yields. Process procedures or combinations of Direct Coal Liquefaction or the Indirect Coal Liquefaction is believed to offer significant process advantages and/or cost savings. Thus, it recommends a further study in improving the energy security of the United States.
