摘要
We calculate the fraction of ionization numerically as functions of laser frequencies for situations in which divalent atoms or ions, resonantly excited via absorption of two photons of a laser with an intensity I-1 and a frequency omega(1), are ionized by absorption of another photon of either the same laser or a second laser with an intensity of I-2 and a frequency of omega(2) through autoionizing resonances. Here, we discuss the process in the case of Mg. Our results suggest that the autoionization resonance profiles from resonantly excited states may be modified depending on the laser conditions, without any laser-induced change in the coupling of bound and continuum configurations and without any phase-related interference effects.
