摘要
This article describes the implementation of a MATLAB developed calculation algorithm for simulation of a sound field. The simulation has been conducted by using standard staggered grid leapfrog Finite Difference in the Time Domain numerical scheme in two dimensions. Anechoic termination at boundaries, as well as source implementation function are discussed. The goal of this article is to apply the Finite Differences in the Time Domain numerical method for objective sound field calculation and simulation in enclosed spaces and thus aiding the design and optimisation of room acoustics in such spaces.
