摘要
A variety of effects provoked by the presence of hydrogen in materials used under complex conditions of mechanical loading, heat burden and corrosion requires the application of many modem research methods. For this purpose, fractographic methods may be particularly useful, especially in determining the quantitative characteristics of fracture surfaces. This paper presents the results of studies concerning the mechanical and fractographical investigations of 2205 duplex stainless steel after hydrogen charging. It has been proved that quantitative fractography methods can be used for a detailed description of hydrogen effects in duplex stainless steels as well as changes in the mechanical properties.
