Research on technological innovation mode of SMEs

Technological innovation is the driver of sustainable development and competitive capability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). But as a noticeable strength in the modem enterprise, SMEs play a pivotal role in our country's economy market construction. This article starts with the definitions of the small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the technological innovation. According to the different criteria for classifying the mode of technological innovation, we have a comparatively detailed illustration of those modes of technological innovation. A variety of factors contribute to the selection of the technological innovation modes for the SMEs, among which the technological innovation capabilities would be a critical and essential factor. The article explained the states of the technological innovation strategy that enterprises of Shanxi implemented at present, and the mode of putting forward the cooperative technological innovation would be a wise choice theoretically and practically. Finally, we present some suggestions based on the technological innovation mode of Shanxi.
