摘要
Along with the development of steel industry, the contradiction between supply and demand of iron ore is becoming more and more serious, so efficient use of the large amount of low grade inferior iron ore has important significance. The main low grade ores and their specific characteristics are expounded; the main development and utilization technology is discussed. Analysis shows that different processes should be attached to different types of ore. For the oolitic hematite, limonite and siderite resources, which are hard to be beneficiated, magnetized roasting should be the most effective process, among which the type of flash roasting can significantly shorten the reaction time, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
