摘要：
Two cases of meningitis due to group B streptococci are reported. One of them developed during post partum, the other in a patient with cirrhosis and ascitic decompensation. The few cases of streptococcal meningitis reported so far in literature were reviewed. The main settings in which they develop were established: post partum, elderly people, immunocompromised patients. Antibiotherapy with betalactams, and especially penicillin G, is the reference treatment.
