摘要
The growing proportion of older people, especially the very old, is often thought of in negative terms such as the need for more health care. But the implications are wider and affect the future of family care as well as issues of intergenerational relations, employment, living arrangements and attitudes. This paper looks at the social implications of an ageing population on people and on services. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
