摘要
Recent global events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, have led to qualitative changes in many areas of public relations, including the labour market. Under these conditions, the role of some labour market institutions may change, which makes it relevant to identify trends in their changes. Based on modern research, the authors will try to trace the trends in the effect of the minimum wage institution's influence on economic development. The following results can be emphasized: The increasing role of the minimum wage institution as a guarantee of a minimum income level in the context of growing economic inequality and a lack of skilled jobs.
